24 HEURES DU MANS 2021 – KAMUI KOBAYASHI – 4éme POLE E SARTHE –[/caption] C’est donc le pilote Japonais Kamui Kobayashi, au volant de l’une des deux Toyota GR70 qui s’élancera ce samedi 21 août en début d”après-midi, depuis la pole position, avec à ses cotés, la voiture sœur, l’autre Toyota, la N°8. Kamui offre sa septième pole Sarthoise à Toyota!L’ancien pilote de F1, réalise un temps de 3’23.900. L’an dernier Kamui Kobayashui avait décroché la pole, avec la Toyota LMP1, en 3’15.267 !Il s’agit de la 4éme pole du pilote Toyota au Mans, dont le record en qualifications dans la catégorie LMP1, est de 3’14.791Sur la seconde ligne, on pointe l’Alpine A 480 N°36 et la première des Glickenhaus Américaine, la N°708 
En LMP2, pole pour le Portugais Antonio Félix da Costa avec 3’27.950 au volant de l’Oreca 07 N°38 du Team Britannique Jota.Il devance l’Oreca 07 N°41 de l’écurie Belge de Vincent Vosse WRT que pilotait dans cette séance le jeune Suisse Louis Deletraz, second avec 3’28.470, à 0.520 et l’Oreca 07 de l’équipe Panis Racing, troisième avec 3’28.586.En LMGTE PRO, pole pour le Belge Dries Vanthoor”qui roule pour le Hub Auto Racing. Au volant de la Porsche 911 RSR N°72, il signe le temps de référence avec 3’46.882Enfin, dans la catégorie LMGTE AM, pole pour le Français Julien Andlauer avec la Porsche du Dempsey Proton en 3’47.987.
